Since 2008 the Norwegian studio TYIN Tegnestue Architects has been working in developing countries in order to find solutions to social needs, involving local people in both the design and building of the projects. Built in Spring 2011 the Klong Toey Community Lantern is a public space where the inhabitants of the informal dwelling of Klong Toey in Bangkok (Thailand) can play, work and meet.
