Plan Extinción is a project by Pkmn architects which is aiming to create a link between the identity of villages threatened with extinction and that of its last inhabitants. The first village involved in this project is Cienfuegos, in Asturias (Spain). Pictures of the inhabitants will  be taken and placed at the entrance of the village as a symbol of identity reusing an obsolete sign belonging to a goverment campaign of fire extinction which gives name to the project.
