In Winnipeg (Canada), one of the coldest city, where winter lasts six months and people are used to go ice-skating, Patkau Architects have developed the design of temporary shelters of flexible plywood. The delicate structures are grouped in a small “village” and located nearby the skating trails, so that one can sit, have a rest, get warm and talk with the neighbour.
