Since 2008 public spaces have become again symbolic catalyst for changes, raising social, political, economical issues and gathering people of different nationalities, ages, cultures, lifestyles and religion. Planning for Protest is a research of the Lisbon Architecture Biennale that has engaged 12 architectural offices with the task of investigating the role of architecture in shaping, defining, or limiting the flow of protest within the urban pattern of their own cities. The project takes shape of a publication and an exhibition running until December 15 in Lisbon (Portugal).
